@Gabe_Luca85 Hey Gabe, I also really loved this song, unfortunately it came out when I was 18 and a god-awful teenager who felt particularly oppressed by his mother (I wasn't!) And made the mistake of turning the volume on my hifi very loud when my poor mother was in the middle of a well deserved tongue lashing, whilst this song was playing in the background! (Timed perfectly on "it's my life!") I have never before or since then seen her as angry as that moment (we are very close now!) ๐
@Gabe_Luca85 Iโm road tripping today to go pick up my wife
@Gabe_Luca85 Thatโs awesome. So that is tonight (Tuesday) or was it yesterday?
@Gabe_Luca85 Not the most excitingโฆbut clean up the house and get organized.
I love seeing everyoneโs contest entries! Donโt forget share your entries here on AXpress and over on AXconnect.
AXpress is #SongOfTheWeek
AXconnect is #NaturePhotography
Best wishes to all!
@Gabe_Luca85 Work work work! But also trying to fix a dishwasher ๐ซ
Here's my #SongOfTheWeek ๐ฝ!
Now that Iโm back and getting settled in, I am ready to start sharing more LEGO designs with you all. I must admit, my LEGO city is in a state of disrepair (two little boys love to play and occasionally pretend there are natural disasters or evil villains attacking) so I have a lot of maintenance work!
That being said, which design would you like to see next?
When we had our dogs, every winter we would pile up the snow and build a snow maze for them.
This one was from a few year ago
@Gabe_Luca85 what an excellent song choice Gabe. Thanks for sharing a little back story about the connection you have with the song.
Good luck, my friend in the contest.
My entry for the #SongOfTheWeek contest.
I first liked this song even before I was able to speak English. Since I like Rock, something about the music pulled me in. When I grew older, immigrated to an English-speaking country, learned how to speak it, and had a chance to listen to the song again, I loved the lyrics even more.
They spoke to me. They made me feel alive.
This is Bon Jovi's It's My Life.
Enjoy
@Gabe_Luca85 it tugs at my heartstrings when I listen to it. They say what that man did is nearly impossible. You can tell he was in pain.

Diagnosed with terminal cancer and only months to live, the lead singer Gord and the rest of the band decided to go on one last tour to say good bye to the country. You did us proud boys.
RIP Gord Downie.
My entry for the #SongOfTheWeek contest.
Ahead by a Century (the way I feel being invested in AXIA)
*VIEWER WARNING*
The ovation at the end of the song is extremely heartwarming.
