I love the theme of the contest…there are so many amazing people who have written and shared so many wise words.
Nelson Mandela was not perfect, but he is definitely one of the greatest leaders of the century. He once said:
“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”
We all like to be tough but this really inspires me to be real and have courage!

@Gabe_Luca85 Hey Gabe, I also really loved this song, unfortunately it came out when I was 18 and a god-awful teenager who felt particularly oppressed by his mother (I wasn't!) And made the mistake of turning the volume on my hifi very loud when my poor mother was in the middle of a well deserved tongue lashing, whilst this song was playing in the background! (Timed perfectly on "it's my life!") I have never before or since then seen her as angry as that moment (we are very close now!) 😂
Today, my mind is cast back to a great piece of music from the Brit band Oasis. Wonderwall has to be right up there for me!

I want to share a song that is very meaningful to me. Bart Millard, the leader of the bad "MercyMe" wrote this song in response to an abusive childhood and it ended being a tremendous encouragement to millions.
The song name is “I Can Only Imagine.” I hope you enjoy!
